If you are interested in getting InvoiceNow for your business but not currently working with an accounting or ERP platform that is Peppol-enabled, you can try out these free InvoiceNow solution providers as recommended by the Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore (IMDA).

These free providers offer the benefits of the InvoiceNow system, but will not cost you anything. They will also give you a good sense of whether InvoiceNow is a viable option for your business.

If so, it will make your foray into invoice financing a lot easier, which in turn will eventually help you to increase your working capital.

Some of them may even have additional services that you will find useful for your business.

Here’s a quick rundown of three accounting/ERP solution providers that are Peppol-ready and equipped with a free e-invoicing enablement feature.

1. DataPost

What it is: A provider of secured data services that was established in 1994. Its suite of secured data handling services attained OSPAR (Outsourced Service Provider Audit Report) accreditation, after audit exercises regulated by the Monetary Authority of Singapore and Association of Banks Singapore.

What it offers: Its scope of services includes digitization, e-invoicing and multi-channel delivery

E-invoicing functions offered: DataPost is a certified access point and part of IMDA’s InvoiceNow framework. It allows you to connect to any organization without needing to migrate your systems.

The company also offers a user-friendly e-invoice software as a service (SaaS), which means you can start using InvoiceNow seamlessly with just some tweaks to the software you are already using.

As a certified Access Point, it can also help you generate ISO20022-compliant payment files that are supported by most major regional banks. You can also opt to generate SG QR codes for your invoices.

How to get started with e-invoicing: Register now to try it for free. Or get in touch here or email dpsales@datapost.com.sg for more details.

In a nutshell: This is a good choice if you are looking at something more than e-invoicing, such as how to digitalize your company’s operations, or store and send documents or payments securely.

2. eInvoice.sg

What it is: A Peppol Access Point Certified provider that has had more than 4,000 sign-ups so far. It works with more than 20 local software providers to connect your accounting/ERP solution to the Peppol network.

What it offers: It provides, on top of e-invoicing services, InvoiceNxt (a free upgrade that offers immediate payment) and PeppolNow services (help for companies that want to get on the Peppol network).

E-invoicing functions offered: When you first enter the site, a prompt appears, asking if you already have an accounting system in place. You will then be guided accordingly.

If you click “yes”, you will be asked to select your existing accounting/ERP system from a list on this page so that the system can find the most competent partner for you.

The company offers tiered pricing plans, based on the amount of documents sent or received each month. Under the basic plan, you can send or receive up to 100 documents monthly at no cost.

How to get started with e-invoicing: Read the frequently asked questions, or contact them using this form. You can also email info@einvoice.sg for more details. Or click here to sign up.

In a nutshell: Its tiered payment structure is easy to understand at a glance. The fact that you can work with the company to tweak your existing accounting/ERP solution to one that can connect to the Peppol network is also a big bonus.

3. Pagero Singapore

What it is: Pagero provides companies with assistance in digitalizing and automating their financial operations, and offers solutions for buyers and suppliers, as well as compliance and healthcare solutions.

What it offers: A suite of e-invoicing solutions (including e-invoicing compliance), e-banking, e-procuring, as well as ERP connectivity.

E-invoicing functions offered: As a fully accredited service provider in Singapore that is approved by IMDA, Pagero can help you to connect to InvoiceNow.

If you work with a lot of overseas partners, you can see a very good global e-invoicing compliance map. Click on a country of your choice to see the type of e-invoicing model it is using.

How to get started with e-invoicing: Go here to see which countries are currently using the Peppol network, and fill up this form to request for more information or get connected to Peppol.

In a nutshell: The e-invoicing solutions offered here do not only include Peppol, but others such as ZATCA. In that sense, Pagero may be a good bet for companies who work with many other partners based internationally that may or may not be using the Peppol network.

Conclusion

If you have yet to try out how InvoiceNow works, there’s no better way to get started than with a free InvoiceNow solution provider that has received the gold stamp of approval from IMDA.

Whether you want to overhaul your operations completely in addition to adopting InvoiceNow, or just want some tweaks made to your existing accounting/ERP platform so you can connect to the Peppol network, these three providers all have something useful to offer.

But be clear about what you need most at this point in time so you will know which solution works best for your business.
